My cat, Shino, started losing his fur on both his front forelegs. It actually got to being raw, have little millet like things...I was really worried. I went to the vet, he gave an antibiotic and yes it worked but soon as those 14 days was over...it started again. Okay I'm thinking it has to be eczema, allergies, or some what? Thus it began, I right away started my research. These are the results...changing to your Instinct cat food and the addition of Omega-3 both morning and night. I have solved Shino's skin problem. But I will tell you this, not only did it solve this problem, I noticed he literally attacks his food, doesn't over eat, eats in small amounts and his temperment is different too. There has been a change since eating your food, he's one satisfied cat!!! I am so glad I spent the time to read about all the cat food that was in that store and brought your food home. Thank you...I don't worry about him now. He acts and looks great!!!!!!! Sorry I don't have a before, but I just wanted you to see him, he's my boy!!!!!

My twelve-year-old Husky/Sheperd mix, Cassie Blanca has always been very active. She actually loved to climb trees for most of her life. Earlier this year she began to exhibit signs of arthritis in her rear legs; difficulty standing up from a sitting position and stiffness. The symptoms progressed to the point where she began to yip whenever she stood up. In April, our vet suggested meds but I disagreed. I am a nutritional consultant and decided to do some research. Cassie B had been eating a combination of raw meat mixed with senior formula kibble. I read that cereals can increase arthritic inflammation in dogs. I removed all kibble/cereal from her diet and added salmon oil to the raw meat which has been shown to reduce inflammation. Fast forward three months and Cassie B is symptom free. She and our goofy Sharpei/ Rhodesian Ridgeback mix, Ginger, are again chasing deer and squirrels and enjoying life to the fullest; no more climbing trees, though. In this era of 'mystery source' meats, thank you for your quality raw meat products.

We were feeding another brand when our local pet store had a manager's special on food that was about to expire. We picked up two bags and were HIGHLY impressed. My Weim has such a sensitive stomach but she never got sick once when switching her to the Prairie. She also has a lot of allergies but never broke out or itched once. I also have a 5 month old english style show black labrador. With the previous food he had bad flaking (even though the food was supposed to be high quality). But after just two weeks all the flaking disappeared. We are on a tight budget but feel that this food is worth the money. We also picked up some of the raw food. I only have before pictures so I will send pictures after they have been on the food for a month. Oh I almost forgot that at the kennel club we get numerous compliments on how shiny Justus' coat is! Squirt is a 12 yr old DSH black cat. She has been bothered by skin issues that were always thought to be flea related although she was treated for them. Her skin and condition had been getting progressively worse and the vet prescribed antibiotics and steroids. I do not believe in just medicating until I find out what is going on. I decided to switch foods and saw your food at the store. There are several other cats eating your food as well. They have not even been through two bags yet and the difference is unbelievable!! I am so happy I did not "treat" her! She is much happier and her coat is glossy and the hair is growing back and the scabs are disappearing. Thank you for a wonderful product and for making it affordable to feed a quality product!

I have nothing but praise for your food line. Not only does Adia (1 year old Rottie Rescue) love your food but the ingredients are wonderful. So many holistic lines use such poor ingredients. My plan is to switch her fully to your raw but until then I will continue to use your Instinct kibble. I have received so many compliments on her coat and my vet says she is in great health. Awhile back I sent oyu an email thanking you for making such healthy and excellent food. Switching my yellow Lab Tritan over to you RAW Diet was the best thing I ever did. Howevr I did not realize how great of a decision it was until recently. Tritan under went surgery on his left knee for cruciaate ligament tears and it was a very extensive surgery. Tritan's surgeon also wanted him to drop more weight. I was concerned for many reasons but mostly because Tritan has a sensitive stomach and a big appetite. But being on your RAW Diet helped Tritan drop 13 pounds, and retain muscle, and kept his stomach in condition even though he was on some pretty strong medications. This is Tritan's first allergy season being on the RAW Diet and I can say that I believe it has helped him immensely. Even his vet was impressed how well he was doing this year and the only difference is the excellent food he is on. Thank you sincerely for making such a good wholesome food and caring so much about the animals in our lives. I look forward to more improvements in Tritan's life with the help of you food and I cannot stop telling other owners about the great products you make.

I just wanted to thank you a COMPLETE guaranteed anaylsis of ingredients on your website. My cat suffers from chronic renal failure and it's very frustrating trying to find foods which are low in phosphorus, especially when very few companies make this information readily available. My cat has not been eating well lately but I purchased some Instinct canned chicken last night and she ate it right up. Winnie & I thank you!

I just wanted to commend your company for the recent announcement to lower the prices of your products. I agree with your comments regarding the challenging times we are all living in. What is beyond my understanding, is that I see many retailers / service providers taking the OPPOSITE approach, and RAISING their prices. Whether it's products in the grocery store, cell phone service, clothes, or a round of golf, it seems sellers think that they can make up for lost revenue by charging their existing buyers MORE for their products. Well guess what. We stopped buying ALL of those products and have eliminated ALL of those services from our budget. That said, I am happy to say we'll continue to be using Nature's Variety, as our dogs (Havanese & Sheltie) are happy & healthy on the medallions, kibble, and canned.

Just wanted to say "Thank You" for lowering the price on Instinct kibbles for dogs. We have been feeding our dogs Nature's Variety Instinct kibble for about 4 years and we love the natural ingredients. The price was approx. $70 and now its down to $60. We thought about switching kibbles since it was expensive but our dogs are worth paying for quality food. Our dogs are healthy and want to keep it that way. I have recently began to feed my superstar German Shepherd RAW. It is wonderfull food. It has helped to heal her ongoing "hotspot" and itchies. It is also difficult to make ends meet in these tough economic times. I will always go "without" to keep my Shepherds healthy. I realize that it is an excellent prevention to ailments that cost even more by the time the vet bill is paid... I go with the Venison but my vet strongly recommends the Rabbit because it is a "cooling meat." I recommend Nature's Variety to my training clients. Most of my clients' dogs have behavioral issues that are a result of poor diet and lack of exercise. Please let me know how I can help raise awareness to the virtues of the RAW.

My husband is a professional dog handler/trainer. We started feeding Nature's Variety frozen diet last fall while on a dog show circuit in Canada. One of our client's dogs was on it to maintain his weight, which he tended to drop while on the road. We found that it worked so well for him that we started feeding it to some of our other dogs. We found that it has really improved our coats (we went Best In Show 2 weeks ago) and helped maintain weight on dogs that otherwise might have gone off of their food on road trips or while there were females in season. We have been very happy with the results on a variety of breeds. We feed the beef patties.

We really love your product and recommend it regularly, in fact at a show this weekend, we told some people about it, and since I had my laptop with me we found a retailer, they picked some up on the way home and their picky eater loved it! I have attached a photo of our Havanese that went Best in Show. Thanks again for a great product.

I adopted three boys from the same litter, and all three have sterile cystitis. A consultation veterinarian from the Cornell Feline Health Center told me to put them on a 100 percent canned diet. I recently switched to Nature’s Variety Instinct lamb, because Lil Guy wasn’t eating well. All three cats devoured the lamb. Besides that, their coats are soft and shiny, and it has been only a week! I've been feeding my 65 lb. rescue shepherd mix, Tango, your raw formula for about two years and it is awesome! We've done both chicken and beef and made that change over without any problem at all. Tango has a very sensitive tummy and had MANY issues before starting her on your food. The results were immediate. Not one episode of upset tummy, diarhea, vomiting, etc. since she has been on your food. And everyone compliments on how soft her coat is. Another bonus is her poo is very small and not stinky. My 9 year old German Sheperd had been a shedding nightmare since his puppy hood. We had, on the advice of our vet, fed him Eukanuba dry dogfoo. I was told that shedding was just the downside to this wonderful breed. When a friend's trainer placed her service dog, also a German Sheperd, we heard rave reviews and placed our dog on Nature's Variety Instinct. I am truly amazed at how our dog HARDLY sheds, his coat shines, and there does seem to be less stool.

HI, just wanted to tell you how much my cavalier, King, loves your Instinct kibble and cans, along with the RAW. So far I started him on the Rabbit formula about a 1.5 weeks ago and so far I've seen a huge improvement in his behavior. His previous food was giving him horrible gas! No matter which flavor of food he was on the brand gave him gas. I was already giving him the RAW so I figured why not the kibble/cans to... Felt kinda dumb not switching to NV in the first place. Ruby has been eating Raw and Prairie formulas for a while now, and her veterinarian is so pleased with the results. She is 7 1/2 years young, very healthy, thank goodness! She is a bearcoat sharpei, and sharpei are known for a variety of ailments. She also gets a probiotic and some fish oil each morning with her meal. I have urged other dog owners I know to try it, and some have just cried to see how much happier their dogs are to eat real food, and wish they had known sooner. I feel the same way myself.

I would like to share with you my personal experience feeding my pets NV Instinct. My 15 month old Maltese/Bishon had severe eye staining, I converted him on NV Instinct (grain-free) and in a matter of 2 weeks the stains faded. I have tried every product on the market and nothing worked. Before converting to NV the color of his skin on the inside of his ears were bright pink (it looked as though they were sun burned), the ears are now a pale shade of pink. The back of his teeth had a slight build up of tarter and now the tarter is gone and his breath odor is also gone. My 13 year old Springer (was born with arthritis in her rear right hip) has lost weight and has more energy is walking with us up to a mile a day. This food is fantastic!!!!
